About Orestis
Hey! My name is Orestis and I am currently a 4th year medical student at the University of Cambridge. I have recently begun my clinical training as a student doctor after receiving my Bachelor of Arts with Honours in the field of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience. Having successfully received offers to all the Universities I had applied to with my 4A* A-level results and a 3100 UCAT score, I can appreciate the perseverance and hard work required in order to be accepted into a reputable medical school. This however is only the beginning of a long yet satisfying journey of medical education. Having achieved multiple awards for my First Class results during my pre-clinical studies, it would be my pleasure to aid your understanding of any and all complexities in the curriculum that might be challenging to you.

Highly experienced in both large classroom and 1 on 1 teaching, I have successfully helped students secure places in Universities such as Cambridge, Imperial, Edinburgh and more. Lessons involve going over exam technique tricks and guided solution of example questions in order to effectively apply these. Emphasis is placed on where the student feels the weakest to ensure that by the day of the exam success is guaranteed. Personal Statement Tailored guidance for your personal statement, with revisions to vocabulary, phrasing, content and more! In-depth feedback to make your statement stand out. Discussion regarding topics that are a must-include, proven by a vast experience in personal statement grading. Interview Preparation During my interview preparation sessions, I delve into a broad spectrum of vital subjects, encompassing chemistry, biology, NHS organisation, medical ethics, current events, reading academic literature and articles, and more. Additionally, we will place a significant emphasis on interview skills, conduct various types of mock interviews, including MMI, panel interviews, Oxbridge-style interviews, and role-plays, and offer constructive feedback to enhance your performance. Tailored Mock Interviews A specialised mock interview featuring questions asked in real medical school interviews. Customised to the specific university for which you have received an interview invitation Thorough feedback provided within the session, with the opportunity to refine your response and revise your technique.
