About Arabella
My qualifications 11 A*'s at GCSE, an A* for Additional Maths, and a prediction of 45/45 in the IB. As a part of my application to study medicine, I took the UKCAT aptitude test and scored in the 99th percentile, which highlights my logical approach to problems. l have tutored a GCSE student at my school as part of a 'buddy system', helping them understand biological principles, and often have helped my classmates through our current material, explaining questions or rephrasing ideas.

I am offering tuition to primary, secondary (for entrance examinations) and GCSE students in maths, chemistry and biology over any period of time from June until October. At first, I get to know the student and ask or deduce where their strengths and weaknesses lie and the style of learning that suits them best (making mind maps, diagrams etc). Making sure that the student has a grasp on the principles in each topic is really important, as applied knowledge is often required in an exam. After this, practice questions are very important to solidify their understanding, and I would help to run through any that cause issues. I also like to consolidate previous material briefly before moving on to any new topic of study.
