About Alex
I am a Cambridge undergraduate going into my second year. I achieved a 1st class in my examinations in first year (Covid-19 reformed assessments) and am currently about to start my second year. I attended King’s College, Wimbledon where I was Head Boy in 2019-20. I also played 1st XV rugby, 1st XI hockey and 1st XI cricket. I have sailed competitively to an international level in Optimists, 420s, 29ers and Lasers. I enjoy going to the gym, playing any sports and listening to music!

My teaching is centred around students learning to tackle any problems themselves instead of learning a fragile formula, which can be easily forgotten, for a particular type of question. I want all my students to be problem solvers, who can apply their knowledge to take on problems more difficult that their syllabus recommends. This way, examinations results become much more secure and the students will never forget what they have learnt!
