About Claire
I study Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic at Cambridge. I have mentored for the Summer School Futurversity and run access events in Cambridge to assist those without much support from their academic institutions to make strong applications. I am also the President of Cambridge FirstGen society. For those who are the first in their family to go to university. So I not only know the struggle of applying to Oxbridge without support from your school, but I am helping to produce the research to mitigate these problems.

We have to first begin with working out what the student actually wants. Is this the right course? Everything about the application process is about how well the student will fit with the particular course in both its focus and its demands. Once that is ascertained we can talk about deadlines, references, personal statement and interview advice. We can also discuss predicted grades and form a realistic plan to make sure the student achieves the necessary grades.
