About Samuel
I am a PhD student studying maths at the University of Cambridge. I have an excellent academic record in mathematics with achieving a distinction in my master's degree and a first in all three years of my undergrad.
I have always enjoyed mathematics and have taken part in maths competitions since I was at school. In 2015 I represented the UK at the IMO (International Maths Olympiad) where I received a silver medal.

My teaching focuses on helping students understand the more difficult aspects of the course by working through problems with them to learn exactly which particular aspect of the concept they are struggling with or misunderstand and helping them with this.
Lessons will typically last approximately 1 hour but this is flexible.
I have a Masters in Mathematics from the university of Cambridge in which I received a distinction and I am currently working towards a PhD. I have over 200 hours experience teaching undergraduates and some experience proving online tuition for A-Level students. I have also spent 4 years volunteering for the UKMT.
I can provide tuition for maths and further maths A-Level as well as STEP, MAT and university entrance exams.
