About Joshua
I currently study Philosophy at Clare College, Cambridge.
I achieved eleven A*s and two 9s at GCSE and three A*s at A Level (History, English Literature and Maths).
I have experience writing the new Maths and English GCSEs as well as the new A Level courses for History, English Literature and Maths.
My particular expertise covers exam technique for essay writing (i.e. how to write what the examiner wants to see).
I can also teach Maths up to GCSE level, as I achieved an A* for A Level Maths, 9 for GCSE Maths and A^ (A* with distinction) for GCSE Further Mathematics.
I offer specific help during the Cambridge University holidays.
I work with students on exam technique for essay writing in History and English Literature , providing targeted crash courses on how to answer types of questions. I can also go through essays with students and point out how to gain extra marks.
For maths, I am happy to help with answering specific types of questions or go over what a student is learning in class.
