About Vu
I am an Engineering graduate from Trinity College, University of Cambridge. I have spent more than eight years helping students develop the knowledge, discipline, and confidence needed to succeed in some of the world’s most competitive academic environments. Having experienced the Oxbridge admissions process himself, I bring both first-hand insight and a rigorous academic approach to the way I mentor students.
I have extensive teaching experience across both school and university-level STEM subjects. Over thousands of teaching hours, I have helped students achieve top grades in Mathematics and Physics, while also mentoring undergraduate students in engineering and other technical disciplines. I also volunteer with The Access Project, where I provide academic tutoring to students from disadvantaged backgrounds and host annual Oxbridge preparation sessions to help widen access to top universities.
Alongside subject tutoring, I support students throughout the entire university admissions journey, advising on university and course selection, helping students craft Personal Statements, preparing them for STEM admissions assessments, and guiding them through the technical interviews that are often the most challenging stage of the process. My students have gone on to secure offers from Oxbridge and other leading Russell Group universities.

I usually identify a student's learning style and adapt my way of delivering accordingly. I enjoy breaking concepts down to simple, relatable examples; and I prefer students to challenge me on everything I say.
I also build good relationships with my students and provide them support even after their final exams.

Extremely helpful for maths exams. He spends a lot of time providing tailored advice and clearly is dedicated to helping you do your best. As long as you have the right attitude and work hard, he will make sure his advice complements your skillset
I barely knew to do any fractions and was so lost. Derivatives was such an advanced to me back then. However Vu Quach was so kind and patient while guiding me all the way. He started from the most basic concepts then moving up. He also provided me with the most concise lecture notes summary as he could so that I could easily revise later then. Also, he was very willing to assist me in details before exams. He would do that by helping me remember the formulas and give me as many revision exercises as possible.
Vu was my Further Maths and Physics tutor, who had helped me so much when I was struggling with my A-Levels being an international student in the UK. He was always on time, always well-prepared, dedicated, and flexible. He was attentive to details, and logical - always providing different ways of explaining as well as solutions to a problem. I was lucky to be introduced to and taught by him. Never got a better tutor than him. Thank you so muchh!!
