About Ruby
Having studied Classics at Girton College, Cambridge, I have specialised knowledge of what it takes to build a successful Oxbridge application. I enjoy supporting students to write in depth and detail at GCSE and A level, as well as helping bring subjects alive by contextual engagement or bringing personal relevance to academia.
Having qualified as an English Secondary teacher, I have extensive experience in the classroom, as well as previous tutoring experience both in person, online on a one to one basis and also online. I am currently key stage three co-ordinator, and so have extensive knowledge of key stage three and four curriculum, and how to support students obtain the best literacy and language grades at GCSE.
I have experience helping students with English, History and PPE applications at highly selective universities, and pride myself on how many students from both traditional and untraditional background I have assisted in gaining places to these hallowed institutions.
