About Jack
I’m a recent graduate from the California Institute, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in computer science. Since middle school, I’ve been at the top of my math classes, and there’s not much I love more than teaching subjects I’m passionate about. I have experience in algebra, geometry, calculus, differential equations, group theory, and analysis. For high schoolers, I also received perfect math scores on both the SAT (800 math/2230 total) and ACT (36 math/36 composite).

I believe too many teachers tell you how to do something without explaining why such methods work. I work to make sure that my students come out of the experience having gained an intuitive understanding of what’s going on behind the scenes. The idea behind this is to equip students not only with knowledge for the current course, but also knowledge they can use going forward.
