About V Karthikgayan
Most students don't struggle with Maths because they "aren't a maths person" — they struggle because a concept got skipped or rushed somewhere along the way. My job is to find that gap and fix it properly.
I tutor with a focus on the why behind the maths — not just memorising formulas. My approach comes from my own experience: I learned best when someone broke concepts down logically, so that's how I teach.
I have experience tutoring SAT candidates through intensive exam prep cycles, focusing on the patterns and traps the exam relies on.
Who I work with:
Primary school students building number sense and core foundations from Year 1 upward
Younger students (Year 9–10) building a strong foundation before IGCSE
IGCSE students preparing for May/June or October/November exams
Students moving from Extended Maths into Additional Maths who want to bridge the gap properly
