About Albert
Now I'm not exactly new to this, as I'm an experienced tutor for two companies and an experienced salesman - that means I have A LOT of public speaking practice, confrontation handling and teaching experience. On top of all that, I'm also an aspiring engineering student which gives me tremendous experience in analytical and logical skills (how to solve problems pretty much). This experience combines to a little over 2.5 years.
I tutor all ages up to high school at Alchemy Tuition, this includes English Advanced for the older students and English and writing skills for the younger ones.
In addition to that, I mentor and tutor for university students from USYD, UNSW and UTS. This has included teaching Analytical Thinking (ATHK1001), Writing (WRIT1001) and Data Analysis (DATA1001).

So you want to improve your writing and speaking. Maybe you want to nail an interview, sound witty(er?) or smash that next essay. It turns out there's a skill to that. It's called Rhetoric, and it's an essential skill if you want to take any written or verbal communication to the next level.
So what exactly will I teach you? For you, we'll cover an introduction to rhetoric and its terminology. Then we'll move onto practising its practical application - there's a lot of these actually, so you'll have to let me know what you want to achieve. Finally, I'll show you how to use this skill to your advantage in almost any scenario whether it's a meeting, sales pitch, assignment or otherwise! I'm not kidding, there's a reason I can teach, study engineering, work in sales and still have time to sleep - my secret is there all share a lot of transferable skills!
Each lesson we cover is one of two types, either theory or practical. Every theory lesson has a practical lesson pair to apply these skills, "learn by doing" as it were. The goal at every point is to find what you don't understand and work from there to build to what you do understand.
I work through Zoom for online lessons.
