About Kauri
I’m 23, I graduated college at 20 and got my TEFL certificate. I substituted for a year and a half before becoming a general education teacher for two more years. I’ve coached clubs, tutored, and hosted school events. I have worked in different group settings with kids at various ages. I know how to conduct professional communication with parents and students about grades, test scores, speech, resources, and many other topics. I’ve been able to work with and help many students with academic challenges.

My biggest motto in class is “ it’s not a mistake if you're learning”. I’ve worked with many kids and love getting to know them. More importantly, I want them to feel comfortable learning from me. I try to make a safe environment where the kids can learn and embrace the mistakes of learning. I also give work based on what your level is. Also, I like to change my methods for the kids. I love to get on their level and learn from them as well.
