In Singapore, education is deemed highly competitive and increasingly stressful. However, it is important to realize that everyone has their own starting point and everyone learns differently. What matters is that you want to make that change and start improving now. Improvement does not have to be a tedious process, it can be a healthy environment where it is fun, productive and engaging. Knowing you did your best is picking out areas you are unsure and having the courage to ask. There is nothing wrong with clarifying your doubts, the real mistake is not taking the initiative in your own learning.

- I am skilled in developing on the pre-existing knowledge of students and enabling them to think more critically. Many students struggle to connect new topics with what they have already learned in the past.
- I want to be this "bridge" in their learning and help them cultivate this skill so they understand topics on a deeper level. I believe this is important so they know how and when to apply such knowledge in the future.
- The best time to nurture this skill is in Primary School level, with at least 2 hours of teachings a week.
