About Matthew
As a current college student, my writing has improved drastically from where I was when I first began competitive speech and debate, however this past year of professional writing for the newspaper at UTSA has honed my skills far more.
I like to make learning fun, because if the student is engaged, they are absorbing and processing the information. It’s my goal to achieve the wanted results, while also connecting with the student and demonstrating everyone is teachable and everything can be learned!
Writing isn’t always easy, but it never has to be hard. My goal is to show students that writing is not some complex puzzle or daunting task, but a straightforward and simple means of communication.

My lesson are fun and straightforward, I want to help you learn to write as best as possible. I am a firm believer Reading and writing can be very enjoyable, and as your writing improves, the more sophisticated your thoughts will be.
Intended for Highschool students, specifically on writing assignments such as drafting essays and research papers.
I am a college student, so I understand what works best for the newest generation and how to connect their thoughts with the ink on the paper.
A typical lesson would include some informal writings prompts to get a baseline for what needs to be improved or worked on, followed by specific work geared to help the individual.
