About Patrick
I am a passionate and energetic teaching professional who sets high academic and behavioural standards. I love my subject Business & Economics and strive to always deliver varied and interesting lessons to maximise the results for my students. Having developed my teaching practise since 2010 in some of the top performing schools in the UK, I have been able to ensure my subject knowledge and classroom management are the best possible. Consequently, I turned to the Middle East to seek new challenges. This has allowed me to strengthen my differentiation and leadership qualities further, to ensure I am a top asset for an innovative, caring school. Leading a small team of colleagues has taught me the importance of clear communication in relationship management. My dynamic approach to teaching is evident in my ability to adapt to new cultures and surroundings. Economics is my passion but I have also taught Business Studies, A-Level Government and Politics, as well as IGCSE Travel & Tourism. Proficiency in ICT such as Microsoft Office Tools and Smart ActivBoard assists in my ability to assess and track pupil’s progress and plan effective, interesting lessons.
