About Olivia
My name is Olivia and I never used to enjoy maths. When I was in primary school and when I started secondary school, I found it difficult to learn multiple equations at one time and I quickly became frustrated - until I adapted and decided to teach myself in ways that was easier for me to comprehend.
I ended up getting an A in my GCSEs and then I decided to take maths for one of my A-levels.
One thing about me is I am very patient. I understand the struggles of maths and how it can be difficult to wrap your head around, so I 100% understand that maths takes time.
I would also like to say I am a fun and bubbly person, so I like to make my lessons fun and not boring!

- I like to teach maths in a way that children can understand it easier. Both of my younger brothers have dyscalculia (a persistent difficulty in understanding numbers which can lead to a diverse range of difficulties with mathematics) so I have helped to develop ways that can help them understand the topics easier.
- My lessons are targeted at children in year 10 or below, so ages 15 and below.
- The typical length of my lessons range from 30 minutes to an hour. Longer lessons can be provided if needed.
- I have had experience tutoring children at my school and also my younger brothers.
