About David
I have taught in high schools since 1978 (40 plus years) teaching and encouraging better mathematics is my main passion. I have from time to time tutored students privately also. I have covered all mathematics curriculum from years 8 to 12, continually updated my training and ideas. I am fully qualified with a Diploma of Secondary Education in Mathematics and Science, which was obtained from Salisbury college of Advanced Education in 1978. I have my Working with Children check

My philosophy is about helping and developing confidence and skills in Mathematics. Assisting with homework problems and new learning, so students can embrace mathematics and their studies in a positive way and strive for success, plus develop skills and a better understanding so tackling future problems is less stressful with a suitable and logical set of strategies. I may tutor you for an hour but I would offer ongoing support as one off sessions is not adequate to develop confidence.
