About Ovea
Hi. My name is Ovea and I graduated in 2022 with a BSc Honours in Chemistry from University College London. I have had experience tutoring students in both Chemistry and Maths which are my two strongest subjects. I worked as a Laboratory Technician within a private secondary school where I have interacted with students and helped them understand topics in Chemistry. I offer online tutoring via zoom, tutoring at my house or I am also willing to travel to any locations within 2 miles distance from my home. I achieved a 9 and A* in GCSE Maths and Chemistry respectively. I also achieved A* in both Maths and Chemistry for my A-levels. I achieved a distinction in my MSc in Pharmaceutical Science with Management Studies.

My approach to teaching is explaining each topic in an engaging way, catering to the learning style and ability of individual students. I also ensure my students’ understanding of the exam specification and how to achieve top marks in exam-style questions. I plan lessons carefully beforehand and use a variety of teaching tools including videos, quizzes, worksheets and PowerPoints. For my GCSEs, I achieved a 9 in Edexcel Maths and an A* in AQA Chemistry. At A Level, I achieved an A* in both Edexcel Maths and OCR A Chemistry. Due to my higher education in both Maths and Chemistry, I am able to teach both subjects with any exam board.
