About Kelly
I am new to the tutoring world, but during my 2nd year at University I undertook a 6-week placement at the local Special Needs School, assisting with the teaching of classes of 5-9 children in a range of subjects. Prior to this, during my final year of A-level I tutored within the school a selection of GCSE and AS Level Students after school hours. Many of these students were on the cusp of grades which would gain them access to college or university and as a consequence I am experienced with deciphering grade boundaries and assisting with key words which gain valuable marks to push pupils into the higher learning bracket.

I am a postgraduate of English Literature and History, graduating with a 2:1 in 2015, keen to provide personalised and enthusiastic teaching through a range of methods incorporating passion and fun. I have previous experience of a 6 week placement in a special needs school, plus tutoring struggling students through their GCSE's and A-Levels to achieve the results they want and deserve.
During my degree I specialised in Early Modern History, but my English background is rich and varied including contemporary novelists, poets and scriptwriters. I am passionate about making English accessible to all and my love of the subject only enhances my pupils ability to learn.
