About Philippa
My name is Philippa, but please feel free to call me Pip! I'm a recent university graduate with a lot of experience in childcare and educational settings. I'm incredibly passionate about education; I didn't have the most positive educational experience at school, and I want to use my knowledge and experience to provide others with a more enjoyable learning environment, even if only for a few hours! My primary goal is to help students understand that learning is not solely for exams and you can actually gain really valuable knowledge in the right educational environment!

My lessons will be a minimum of 60 minutes (1 hour) long, but can be longer if desired!
The techniques I use to teach will largely be driven by you - the student. I am more than happy to adapt how I approach a lesson so that it suits you & you get the most out of it. At the beginning of every lesson, we will go over what you hope to gain from that lesson, and what I hope to provide, so that we have a clear aim for our time together!
I will teach Psychology and English Literature to any age group at any key stage school level. I am also happy to teach Psychology at a university undergraduate level.
My qualifications are: a 2:1 degree in Psychology from the University of Exeter, and A-levels in Psychology (A*), English Literature (A), and Music (A).
