About Dayita
Hi everyone, my name is Dayita and I’m 23 years old. I hold a BSc in Interior Design and Decoration from Nitte, Bangalore, and I have about 1.5 years of professional work experience in the field.
What makes my experience a little different is that I work in a non-corporate design company, which allowed me to explore every aspect of interior design without restrictions. From day one, I have independently handled complete projects — from flooring, false ceiling, plumbing, and electrical planning to sourcing materials, installations, client interactions, and site visits. This hands-on experience has taught me how interior design actually works in the real world.
Our company has also partnered with Hafele, which gave me exposure to the sales side of the industry as well. Along with practical site knowledge, I’m thoroughly trained in design software like SketchUp, Enscape, V-Ray, and D5, and I have strong knowledge of standard measurements and the technical aspects of interior design.
I want to share this knowledge with students so they can learn the practical skills, real-site understanding, and technical details that are often not fully covered in college. My goal is to help you become confident designers who can handle real projects from concept to execution.

I’ll guide you through how things actually work on site — from standard measurements and materials to dealing with contractors, solving on-site challenges, and making designs work in real spaces.
