My teaching techniques include trying various interactive methods and observing from that, what is best for each learner. This includes approaches using rhymes, colour coding, picture associated methods, repetition and of course , practice questions. I believe that most misunderstandings about content of work is due to the fact that it wasn't taught the way the learner understands.
