About Abubakr
I am a chemical science graduate with first-year pre-calculus, calculus, advanced calculus, as well as applied mathematics under my belt. I have taught a total of 50 students so far, with a good success rate. One of my remarkable cases has seen one of my student's marks increase his codes to a code 6 from a code 1 in the space of three months. I have a passion for science, especially science teaching, and have always maintained a B aggregate throughout my schooling and university career and received an A aggregate in my final year. I was never an A student in high school and have on occasions struggled with math and physical sciences in high school and have failed mathematics in grade 10. Through these experiences, I can relate to the fears that go with drowning in mathematics and can help students out of this situation.

My teaching method involves starting from the base of the subject material and gradually increasing the intensity of the content. I am a big believer in 'practice makes perfect,' and through this, I incorporate working through past exam problems and even higher-level problems for the majority of my lessons. I also incorporate humor into lessons as I believe that students need to enjoy the content. I am in the science field and have seen on many occasions how this knowledge is applied in real-world situations, which also helps to keep students motivated while learning. I am extremely patient and immensely enjoy helping people understand certain things, especially in science, and therefore leave no stone unturned and no question unanswered.
