About Jennifer
I recently graduated with a BSc (Hons) Economics from the University of Warwick (UK), and currently work as an analyst in a financial institution in Kuala Lumpur. I have always been a diligent and high-performing student, leading to my undergraduate degree being fully sponsored by a rigorous and well-known scholarship provider. My Economics degree was very Mathematics and Statistics heavy, and involved a lot of independent learning, helping me understand the best ways to learn and apply knowledge. I was also an A-Level student once myself, achieving 3A*s (Mathematics, Biology, and Economics). I am committed, willing to listen, and understand very well the difference between being intelligent and being a good teacher; I am determined to be the latter.

I teach Economics and Mathematics for A-Level students. My aim is to understand and cater to individual learning styles, tailoring my methodology to what works best for each student. Notes used to teach (particularly for Economics) will be my own, used by myself and updated accordingly. I prioritise understanding over memorisation, allowing students to apply their knowledge in various scenarios, and ensuring knowledge is retained for the long term. Typical lesson length will be between 60-90 minutes, depending on the student's preference. I will not extend lessons beyond 90 minutes to account for focus cycles. There will be mini quizzes set once every two weeks aimed at testing and addressing gaps in understanding. Students are also always welcome to reach out at any time for brief questions and clarifications.
