About Alice
I am looking forward to sharing my experience with new students and offering students the chance to improve any part of their English on their own schedule. I taught online during the pandemic for three years, including one-to-one lessons and tutorials, as well as whole group classes and lectures, so I am well versed in the requirements of students learning online and exploiting video conferencing software (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams) for the best results.

I am offering English lessons to older teenagers and adults of any age. My experience is teaching university students from undergraduate to PhD. I am also able to give writing tutorials and offer strategies for tackling intensive listening (e.g. lectures) as well as general listening skills. I am trained in IELTS preparation and also have experience in preparing students for Cambridge FCE and CAE exams. My previous working experience has involved General English, English for Academic Purposes and English for Scientific Purposes. I am happy to offer 45 minute or 1 hour lessons. I will teach specific content from PPTs if you require this or can simply offer speaking lessons with immediate correction / suggestions for improvement in the areas of pronunciation / accent, vocabulary, grammar and fluency.
