About James
Born in the UK, I started working in the Travel Industry when I was 18. I wanted to travel and to learn how to ski. I managed to find a job Switzerland, which then developed in to a career in the Travel Industry. After working overseas for 12 years, I met my now wife and moved to Montréal, Canada.
Throughout my career I've trained teams from all over the world in Customer Service and hospitality roles. A lifelong student, I'm an avid podcast listener and I'm constantly looking for opportunities to add tools to my toolkit.

My approach is communicative and student-centered, aiming to build confidence in speaking, listening, and understanding English through real-life contexts.
I believe that language learning is most effective when students engage in authentic conversations, as it mirrors how language is used in the real world.
I provide people that are learning to practice an opportunity to speak with a native speaker and I can provide feedback in French.
