About Lorena
I’m someone who loves discovering new places and traveling to explore different environments and cultures — but I also deeply enjoy the comfort of being at home, cooking, baking, and trying out new recipes. I’m passionate about music, animals, movies, series, amusement parks, and spending time with the people I love. Currently, I’m studying Portuguese and English at university. Learning English was a life-changing adventure for me, and now I find great joy in helping others learn my native language — Portuguese — which will always hold a special place in my heart. I believe language learning should be meaningful, fun, and connected to real life. That’s why I bring my personality, creativity, and care into every lesson. Hi! My name is Lorena. I'm a native Brazilian from Rio de Janeiro, currently living in New York. Learning English has been an incredible journey for me, and today I truly enjoy working as a teacher. Teaching Portuguese is very special to me — it’s my native language, and I love sharing it with others. I like to teach the same way I enjoy learning: in a fun, relaxed, and engaging way. We can use music, movies, TV series, or talk about things you love — your hobbies, daily life, or anything that inspires you. I’m currently studying Portuguese and English at university, and I’m passionate about education. I design every lesson based on your goals and interests, so learning feels natural, relevant, and motivating.
