About David
I'm from Colorado Springs and graduated from CU Boulder. While earning my degree I developed an interest in teaching and picked up an education minor to complement my math degree.
I've worked with students of all ages from the elementary to the high school level. While studying I worked with elementary and middle school students where I developed and taught lessons. After graduating I spent some time working in Special Education, while there I learned the importance of getting to know and understand my students. This helped me to create effective lessons that were engaging for each individual student and helped them be confident in what they were learning.

I always prioritize my understanding of the student - what they already know, what they don't know, what they want to work on, and who they are. The better I know my students the better I can help them achieve.
My lesson plans are based off each student's specific needs. Every student is unique and there is no "one size fits all" when planning a lesson.
I have a background in mathematics and specialize in serving catered lessons to each individual student.
