About Leon
My name is Leon and I provide tuition for maths up to GCSE. Unlike many tutors, I have also experienced the confusion created by how maths is taught in schools. These experiences have allowed me to understand why students get confused when learning maths - and importantly, how to help you make better sense of each concept. In my career, I have learnt maths through real application in software development. Through my teaching, I have helped students progress their understanding of maths to achieve grades 4 - 7 at GCSE.

My lessons help you to develop your understanding of maths by breaking each concept into 3 stages of learning: * Awareness - allowing you to understand the reasons for what you're about to learn. * Practise - to help you master the technique in a way that's easy to perform. * Application - for understanding how to achieve full marks in exam questions. My lessons include 1:1 direction from me to direct you on how to practise maths, with additional video explanations and exercises available on a custom learning page I provide for you to practise with between lessons.
