About Deniz
I am a sophomore at Princeton University in the process of attaining a degree in Biophysics with a minor in Visual Arts. I have taken courses such as General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I, Calculus II, AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, and Algebra Honors, and thus have experience as a student in these courses as well as a tutor for my peers. One of my greatest passions is helping others, and I have been tutoring since high school and especially have experience providing students with college prep as a former advisor for students applying to college!

Tutoring is catered to each individual student's needs and general goals! A typical lesson plan follows the same overall schedule: - A student can elect to provide me with the topic or the homework they are struggling with beforehand so that I can prepare practice problems or prepare a how-to accordingly. - I will first work through a comprehensive practice problem as a mini lesson on Jamboard, and will open the floor for any questions that arise. - Then, once the general concepts are understood, I will work with the student to complete a set of practice problems or work through their homework assignments together. - If requested, I will also provide mini assignments to be completed before our next lesson so that I can gauge any misunderstandings from our lesson prior and gain an understanding of what you already know in preparation for the next lesson. This lesson can be altered accordingly for each student! I provide students with hands-on experience with the subject at hand by working through practice problems together! I prefer not to teach 'at' you, but rather gauge your understanding of key concepts in real time so that your questions do not go unanswered. I am available to tutor middle and high school students in math, chemistry, and college readiness (SAT prep).
