About Hannah
I am a second year Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Manchester. I have been tutoring students in chemistry and maths for both GCSEs and IGCSEs over the last two years. My course involves using my knowledge of these subjects so these subjects and the exams themselves are still fresh in my mind. I've worked in Primary schools and have the patience and willingness to help my students reach their goals and to push them further.

I give lessons to students up to AS level. My most experienced category of students is GCSE students. I work best with individual students and small groups.
From previous tutoring experience I have discovered that it is always good to speak to my student(s) before the session so that I am able to prepare in advance. It is good to hear what aspects they are struggling with and also to know the exam board they are with. This is helpful if exams are in close proximity as exam technique can also make a huge difference to the results.
Lesson structure also depends on the student I am working with as everyone learns best from different styles. I have great resources to give the students and have flexible hours that can fit around everyone's schedules.
As a tutor I am patient and diligent and always encourage my students to aim high. I believe I can help the students achieve their best and I will always be ready to support them even when they are struggling.
