About Keir
I am a biomedical scientist currently studying at Oxford. I have been teaching for 4 years. I taught a class of 18 prep school pupils Maths alongside their form tutor. I have recently been tutoring an 11 year-old for their 11+ exam.

I like to first find out how the tutee learns best. I then try to cater for this whilst keeping the teaching fresh and doing different activities each session. The best way to learn is to focus on the weaker areas and to reinforce corrections that need to be made.

Keir and I were classmates throughout A-level biology, during which time he often helped me understand topics which I struggled with. In particular, during revision for our exams we would work together to learn various topics (for example respiration or genetics), then Keir would test me to help reinforce the information. He was great at explaining processes in a logical manner and often provided alternative methods of revision which greatly helped in the run up to exams.
