About Lucy
I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Liverpool, having achieved an A in A-Level Mathematics.
I’ve been in your shoes. I actually really struggled with A-Level Maths at first. It didn't just "click" for me. I had to re-learn how to study properly, and develop specific systems to master it. Because I had to fight for my A, I know exactly where students get stuck, how overwhelming the jump from GCSE can feel, and precisely how to guide you through it.

I use an interactive, exam-focused approach rather than dry lectures:
- "I Do, We Do, You Do": We break down a concept together, practise a problem side-by-side, and then you tackle one independently to build confidence.
- Exam Decoding: Having earned an A at A-Level, I teach you how to read between the lines of past papers and score full marks based on the mark scheme.
- Real-World Context: My Biomedical Sciences degree allows me to connect abstract maths to real-world science, making formulae easier to remember.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes - the perfect length to master a topic without brain drain. 90-minute intensive sessions are also available for exam season.
I achieved an A in A-Level Maths and am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Liverpool.
