About Alexis
I tutored children when I was going through my undergraduate degree. I am now in my master’s program, and I am also a student, again! I know how hard it can be to just want to get it. Sometimes I feel like I’m wasting my time stuck on one concept, when there is so much to learn, but I am dedicated to helping people understand these things take time, and they don’t always make sense right away. As a student, I struggled plenty, but I got good grades. I take the time to allow myself grace and approach information differently.

My approach is all about the angles: if something isn’t making sense, let’s turn that dial 45°. We will keep turning until the material lines up with your way of thinking. Math and science are not a one size fits all, that’s why they call it the ‘practice of medicine’. I am dedicated to helping you adapt to the material and manipulating it to adapt to you. I am super approachable, patient, and understanding. I too have attacked material that made absolutely no sense to me. Not everyone gets it on the first try, and that’s okay!
