About Shaumiya
I'm a biomedical science graduate currently studying dentistry, and I’ve always loved breaking down complex ideas in a way that actually makes sense. I want to help students not just memorise content, but understand it especially by explaining concepts in different ways until it clicks. Everyone learns differently, and my goal is to adapt to each student’s needs and help them build real confidence in their learning.

I start by getting to know how each student learns and what they need help with. From there, I adapt my teaching style to fit them whether that means breaking things down differently or finding new ways to explain tough concepts. I focus on helping students think for themselves by showing them how to approach questions, not just memorise answers. Along the way, I check in regularly to see how they're doing and adjust as needed to keep things moving forward.
