About Karina
I am a Master Biomedical Engineering student; the degree was obtained at the Carlos III University of Madrid, fully imparted in English, while the master is abroad.
I have more than 5 years of experience in support and reinforcement of science and technology subjects at ESO level, high school (bachillerato), and in preparation for the university entry exams, as well as in private English classes and technical subjects in bilingual schools.

Science and technology subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, etc. are for ESO students.
For 'Bachillerato' students, I focus on the subjects of Mathematics and Physics, also preparing for PAU.
I can teach any subject in English, either because the student goes to a bilingual school or because they has a foreign curriculum.
Regarding technical and science subjects, I place a deep emphasis on the student being able to understand and reason the bases of the subject more than on memorization and pure repetition of exercises and problems, since this will help the student not only overcome the course you are in, but be able to retain the information for later courses. In addition, I always try to relate the concepts to real-life situations and their possible uses for the future, so that the student sees usefulness in what he learns.
To give the classes online, I use an interactive whiteboard on which both the student and I can write and modify live during the class, and here is where we upload the material with which to work in each class. I have been using this methodology for a year and a half with the same success as the face-to-face classes. Students adapt very quickly and easily to the online class and it offers greater flexibility for both the student and the teacher.

Nos ha gustado mucho su manera de explicar las cosas a mi hija. Ha conseguido hacerle más sencillas las explicaciones y han repasado conceptos previos que a veces se dan por aprendidos pero que han sido de gran ayuda para que mi hija avance correctamente en su aprendizaje y no se frustre. Gracias a eso ahora mi hija entiende mucho mejor lo que le explica Karina y lo que le enseñan en clase.
Llevamos ya bastante tiempo dando clases con Karina. Es una profesora excelente y con muy buena preparación para dar clases. Sabe como adaptarse a las necesidades de cada alumno, transmite todos sus conocimientos y hace que las clases sean muy efectivas. Karina es muy profesional y cercana. Cien por cien recomendable!
Es una gran profesora, prepara las clases con antelación, explica muy bien y tiene mucha paciencia. Adapta la clase a las necesidades del alumno y manda ejercicios para afianzar los conceptos trabajados.
Es una persona muy dinámica y trabajadora. Se nota que le gusta enseñar y tiene un gran conocimiento en el área. Mi hijo se preparó selectividad con ella y sacó muy buenas notas. Estamos muy contentos con ella.
