About Ellen
Receiving all 9s at GSCE and A*A*A*A at A-Level, I have first hand, recent experience of tackling exams, and I would be happy to tutor you to achieve your goals. I have recently finished my degree in biomedical science, where I established a strong passion for biology and am moving on to a master's, so I'm keen to provide extra challenges to students who wish to stretch themselves.

Firstly, we'll look at what you want to work on, and are more confident with. I'll always have a lesson plan ready to make sure we cover the key concepts you're struggling with, but we can stay flexible to adapt to different needs/topics. As each student learns in a different way, I will tailor these lessons to you and how you revise best to build confidence and skill. Once we've built foundational knowledge, we can apply these to a range of scenarios to make sure you're prepared for whatever comes up in an exam.

I might be biased as I’m her dad, but Ellen is a very friendly engaging person who extremely knowledgeable in her academic field. She achieved some of the best GCSE results in our county while attending an average state school in the local estate which required her to self motivate and teach herself some parts of her subjects. She went on to get top science and maths A levels and has just completed a degree in bio medicine. Ellen knows better than most how to get top results in GCSE and A level or the Scottish equivalent.
