About Cora
I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience and hold a BSc in Molecular Biology. My teaching blends science with curiosity, focusing on ethology and animal behaviour studies to explain evolutionary psychology and behavioural ecology. I have a passion for exploring innate behaviours, learning processes, social structures, and communication in animals. I guide students in understanding how these behaviours develop and why they matter. My strength lies in analysing animal adaptations and survival strategies in nature. Lessons include real-life examples that make complex concepts accessible and engaging. I encourage students to think critically and connect ideas across biology. My approach helps learners see the bigger picture of life’s complexity. Together, we explore fascinating questions about life, evolution, and survival. My teaching approach focuses on making Biology both clear and inspiring. I specialise in evolutionary biology, natural selection, speciation, and phylogenetics to help students understand life’s diversity. I also include related topics like ecology, genetics, and molecular biology for a complete perspective. Lessons are designed to encourage critical thinking and evidence-based reasoning. I use real-world examples and case studies to make concepts relatable and memorable. As a Food Chemist and Green Chemist, I bring unique insights that connect biology to everyday life and sustainability. I design exercises and discussions that refine understanding and deepen curiosity. I provide targeted practice and constructive feedback to build skills and confidence. Students gain the ability to discuss complex biological ideas clearly and confidently. My goal is to guide them towards not just learning facts, but understanding life’s grand narrative. I create a supportive environment where questions are welcomed and exploration is encouraged. Together, we work towards academic excellence and a deeper appreciation for biology.
