About Daphne
My interest in biology began when I started learning about how living organisms grow, adapt, and survive in different environments. This curiosity encouraged me to study biological sciences at the university level, where I completed a Master’s in Biological Sciences. Over the past 7 years, I have taught students from different academic levels and helped them understand biology through simple and supportive lessons.
I believe that biology should be taught with patience and clarity. Many students initially find scientific terms and processes difficult, so I focus on explaining ideas step by step and using examples that students can easily understand. By creating a calm learning environment, students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about environmental studies, health science, and modern biological research. Continuing to learn helps me bring new examples and perspectives into my lessons. Watching students gain confidence and curiosity in biology is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching experience.

Biology becomes much easier to understand when students see how living organisms function and interact with the world around them. My lessons focus on explaining important biological concepts in a clear and organized way so that students can follow each topic comfortably. We explore subjects such as cell biology, genetics, plant systems, and human anatomy using simple explanations and visual diagrams. Instead of memorizing long definitions, students learn how biological processes actually work and why they are important for life.
During lessons, I guide students through important topics step by step. Beginners learn about cells, tissues, and basic life processes that form the foundation of biology. Intermediate learners study genetics, ecosystems, and body systems. More advanced students explore biological cycles, environmental relationships, and scientific reasoning. Practice questions and visual learning help students build stronger understanding and improve their confidence in studying biology.
As students progress, they begin to notice biological ideas in everyday life, such as how the body stays healthy or how plants grow in the environment. This understanding often increases curiosity and appreciation for the natural world. My goal is to help students develop a strong foundation in biology while encouraging interest in scientific thinking and observation.
