About Beatrice
Hi I’m Beatrice and I have a Masters in Biochemistry (First Class Honours).
After graduating I have worked in the Biotechnology industry as part of the Research and Development part of the company and in academic research at the Francis Crick Institute, supervised by a Nobel-Prize winner.
I achieved A*AA at A-level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively.
I believe I have a good insight into the current GCSE and A-level syllabus and exam structure, and have been taught great exam techniques from my previous tutors.
Studying Biochemistry has been helpful to further my understanding of the concepts I learnt at A-level and so it has become easier for me to explain these subjects, be it genetics; protein structure and function; DNA; cellular processes, and other aspects of chemistry like thermodynamics; bonding; physical properties of elements; organic and inorganic chemistry.

Perfect! incredible tutor for bio, chem and maths
After I missed almost the entirety of year 10, Beatrice basically taught me most of the GCSE curriculum for biology and chemistry. She made incredible notes to explain things, knew exactly what she was talking about and was always really clear and happy to go over whatever I needed.

Beatrice is intelligent and bright, she is very good at explaining things even when the concepts are hard to understand. She always tries to find the best ways to explain things depending on the person she is addressing.
She is always patient and willing to listen to you!Beatrice was giving me Chemistry lessons for a month to prepare me for my first university quiz. I was very nervous for it but Beatrice would help me with all my questions and come up with clever and innovative solutions. She always prepared tons of material to go over with me before our sessions and she would adapt her busy schedule to my needs, facts that show how very hardworking and reliable Beatrice is.
