The subjects I would be able to assist with are Biology/Human Biology up to Advanced Higher level. My lessons would initially consist of communication to understand the areas of difficulty and set aims that together we would strive to achieve. During the lesson I would explain the area in detail and ask questions throughout to engage and challenge the student. At the end of each session I would overview the topic to consolidate and allow time for any feedback in ways I could adapt my assistance to the individual.

Had Louise as a tutor for my daughter studying higher human biology. Daughter enjoyed the lessons and they improved her knowledge greatly. Louise had the skills to explain concepts that my daughter was struggling with in a way that she could understand and remember. We found Louise to be knowledgeable, patient, reliable, was very easy to work. Would highly recommend.
Louise is a really friendly and reliable tutor. She was always able to help with any of my questions, and she always joined the call with a smile on her face. I really appreciate everything she did for me, and I recommend her for any biology students who need some extra help.
I would highly recommend Louise’s tutoring for so many reasons. First of all, during our sessions whilst in progress of my higher biology course, Louise would explain difficult topics in a way that not only would make so much sense, but I would remember them for a very long time after, which really helped me in my studying. Also, Louise has a strong understanding of the higher/nat5 course, in which she was able to help me understand exactly what the SQA is looking for and what to look out for in my exams. Not only Louise is a fantastic teacher, she also made our sessions very enjoyable and has motivated me to keep trying my best, even when I found the subject hard.
