I provide personalized, clear, and engaging lessons to help students understand math concepts and build their confidence. My goal is to make math less intimidating and more approachable by breaking down complex ideas and teaching in a way that fits their learning style. Firstly, a diagnostic assessment would be essential to understand the student's strengths, along with their goals for the session. A typical lesson plan would include a warm up, a lesson, guided practice, and independent practice, which would be followed by a summarization of the session and a plan for next steps. The typical grade range for my teaching expertise would be grades 3-9, with any sort of mathematical concepts.
