About Easton
My interest in biology began during my Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, where I studied different life processes and how living organisms function. I was always curious about how the human body works and how biological systems are connected. Over the past 7 years, I have worked with many students, helping them understand biology clearly and build confidence through structured and supportive teaching.
I believe that biology should feel interesting and not overwhelming when it is taught in a simple and organized way. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex topics into smaller parts and explaining them step by step. I use diagrams, examples, and regular revision to help students understand and remember concepts effectively. I also take time to understand each student’s learning pace and adjust my teaching approach so they feel comfortable and confident.
Outside of teaching, I continue reading about new developments in biology and exploring ways to make learning more engaging. This helps me improve my teaching and keep my lessons relevant. Teaching biology is very fulfilling to me because I enjoy helping students build curiosity, improve their understanding, and gain confidence in their ability to learn and explain scientific concepts clearly and effectively.

Biology becomes easier when students understand how different systems are connected instead of memorizing large amounts of information without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding through simple and structured explanations. We begin with basic topics such as cell structure, tissues, and life processes. I use clear explanations and diagrams so students can visualize how biological systems function. This approach helps reduce confusion and builds a strong foundation.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as human body systems, genetics, ecology, and evolution. I guide students step by step so they understand both the details and the connections between different topics. Each lesson includes explanation sessions, practice questions, and revision techniques that help students strengthen their understanding. I also support students in improving their answer writing and scientific explanation skills.
Biology lessons also help students develop curiosity, observation skills, and scientific thinking. They learn how biology is connected to health, environment, and everyday life. Over time, students gain confidence and become more comfortable with the subject. My goal is to make biology simple, engaging, and meaningful while helping students build lasting understanding and confidence.
