About Evanna
I enjoy helping students understand science in a clear and simple way, especially when they initially find it challenging. During my studies, I often found that the best learning came from breaking complex topics into smaller, more understandable parts, and I now want to share that approach with others. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their grades, and develop a real understanding of Biology that goes beyond memorization.

I received a H1 in biology and first class honors in Bioscience from the University of Limerick. I am the recipient of the Mary Mulvihill award in science communication. I also received an A grade on my thesis on endometriosis.
I take a patient, supportive, and structured approach to private tutoring, focusing on building both understanding and confidence. I start by identifying exactly where a student is struggling, then break complex topics into simple, manageable steps using clear explanations, diagrams, and real-life examples. I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual learner, whether they need more repetition, visual learning, or exam-focused practice. My goal is not just to help students memorize information, but to help them truly understand the subject so they feel more confident and independent in their studies. I am also confident in teaching students with learning difficulties.
