About Dan
Dr Khan has been recognized internationally for his work. His work has been recognized by the U.S State Department and United Nations. Dr Khan’s early work addressed the humanitarian and educational challenges of the European Refugee Crisis, leading him to found an initiative that enabled refugees access to education from institutions such as Harvard, Yale, and Google.
Dr Khan is a recipient of the Princess Diana Award and was an honoree at the Red Cross Humanitarian Awards. Dr Khan has been awarded Fellowships from the Aspen Institute and Queen Elizabeth II’s Commonwealth Trust. He has been named a ‘Global Shaper’ by the World Economic Forum and a ‘Rising Leader’ by the Aspen Institute. He holds UN credentials in Civil-Military relations.
Dr Khan received his medical degree from Trinity College Dublin. Dr Khan was elected as Councillor at the Royal Society of Arts in 2025.

Hi I’m Dan. I’m a Doctor. I now offer biology lessons (partly for my own enjoyment)
My professional background:
