About Sloane
My journey in Biology began with a strong curiosity about how living organisms function and interact with their environment. I completed my Bachelor’s in Biology, which helped me develop a solid understanding of various biological systems and processes. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them understand complex topics through simple explanations and structured teaching methods that focus on clarity and confidence.
I believe that every student can learn Biology effectively with the right guidance and support. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, visual learning, and connecting concepts to real-life situations. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas freely. This helps them build confidence, develop curiosity, and gradually become more independent in their learning journey.
Outside of teaching, I stay engaged with Biology by reading about new developments and exploring modern research. This helps me bring updated knowledge into my lessons and keep them relevant. Teaching Biology is deeply fulfilling because I see students grow from uncertainty to confidence, and I enjoy helping them develop a strong understanding of the subject.

Biology becomes easier to understand when students can connect concepts to real-life living systems and processes. In my lessons, I focus on topics such as cell biology, human anatomy, genetics, and ecology, explaining each concept in a simple and structured way. I carefully break down complex processes into smaller steps so students can follow the flow of ideas without feeling confused. By using diagrams, examples, and clear explanations, I help students visualise how systems work, which improves both understanding and memory over time.
Each lesson is designed to match the student’s level and pace, ensuring that learning feels comfortable and effective. Beginners focus on basic concepts using simple explanations and visual support. Intermediate learners work on understanding processes, improving written answers, and connecting different topics. Advanced students focus on detailed explanations, diagrams, and exam preparation strategies. Every session includes revision, practice questions, and feedback, helping students build confidence and achieve steady improvement in their learning.
Biology also helps students develop observation skills, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for life around them. As they begin to understand how systems are connected, they gain confidence in their ability to learn and remember information. This not only improves academic performance but also builds a positive attitude towards learning. My goal is to make Biology clear, engaging, and meaningful, helping students feel confident and capable in their studies.
