About Thashna
Hi, I’m Thashna! I’m a Biology graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London, with a genuine passion for science and helping others understand it. I’ve spent time tutoring students privately, and I know firsthand how daunting subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Science can feel.
I provide tutoring for A Level Biology and GCSE Science & Maths, helping students build confidence and achieve their target grades. Tailor lessons to individual learning styles, using clear explanations, practice questions, and past paper technique to strengthen understanding and exam performance.
I bring patience, reliability, and a genuine investment in each student’s progress. I break down complex scientific concepts into simple, clear steps and use real-world examples and visual aids to help ideas stick. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace, strengths, and learning preferences, using a mix of explanation, practice questions, and past paper technique to build both knowledge and exam confidence.
Lessons typically run for 1–2 hours, depending on your preference and the topic being covered. I have experience tutoring students privately across science subjects and enjoy helping them move from feeling stuck to feeling capable.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A Level students studying Biology and related sciences, though I’m happy to support Key Stage 3 students who want a head start or extra reinforcement.
