About Sohan
I am a qualified Biology and Science tutor with a B.Sc. (Honours) in Biology/Zoology and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). I have experience teaching school students through private and online tutoring, with a strong focus on making difficult scientific concepts clear and easy to understand.
I am patient, friendly and supportive, and I believe every student can improve with the right guidance and regular practice. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and discussing topics they find difficult.
I am particularly interested in supporting UK primary and secondary school students with Biology and Science, including students working towards GCSE level. I adapt my teaching to each student's individual learning needs and aim to help them strengthen their subject knowledge, prepare effectively for exams and become more confident in their studies.

My approach to tutoring is simple: Understand → Explain → Practise → Correct → Revise.
I believe Biology and Science become much easier when students understand the concepts rather than simply memorising them. I explain difficult topics step by step using simple language, examples and practice questions, while adapting each lesson to the individual student's level, pace and learning needs.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes and includes concept explanation, guided practice, questions and doubt clearing, followed by a short review of what we have covered. I can also support students with homework, revision and exam preparation.
I hold a B.Sc. (Honours) in Biology/Zoology and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and I have experience providing private and online tutoring to school students.
My one-to-one online lessons are aimed at UK primary and secondary school students, particularly those studying Biology and Science at Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and GCSE level. Lessons can be adapted to the student's school curriculum and individual academic needs.
My goal is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, strengthen their understanding of Science and gradually become more confident and independent learners.
