About Vira
I have 5 years of experience teaching Biology to students preparing for exams, science pathways, and medical-related study goals. I hold a B.Sc in Biological and Medical Sciences, which gave me strong knowledge of human physiology, genetics, and life processes. This academic foundation helps me explain biology in a way that feels approachable and meaningful.
My teaching style is supportive, patient, and focused on deep understanding. I enjoy helping students connect concepts rather than memorise isolated details. I guide learners through structured reasoning, exam preparation, and confidence-building learning strategies.
Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with biology through reading research in medicine, ecology, and biotechnology. Biology becomes truly fascinating when students see it as an interconnected explanation of life rather than a subject of memorisation. In my lessons, I help learners explore cells, genetics, evolution, ecosystems, and human body systems through structured explanation and supportive discussion. I focus on making biological processes feel logical and clear, helping students build confidence as they understand how living systems function. Sessions are designed to feel engaging, calm, and encouraging.
Lesson structure depends on each student’s stage. Beginners focus on cell biology, classification, and basic physiology. Intermediate learners strengthen understanding of genetics, immunity, ecology, and plant systems. Advanced students work on molecular biology, exam-style writing, and interpreting experimental data. I use diagrams, concept linking, and guided revision practice so students retain knowledge effectively.
