About Aleeza
I achieved 9x grade 9s and 2x grade 8s at GCSE and A*A*A in A Levels Biology, Psychology and Chemistry. I have a wealth of tutoring experience and have helped students working at a 4 achieve a 9. - I tutor GCSE and A Level students in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology
- My lessons are highly interactive, with a focus on each student’s preferences. I like to create a comfortable and supportive environment with my students, to encourage learning and curiosity within the subjects - I do this by openly communicating with students/parents and continuously seeking feedback on lessons.
- My teaching methods are centred around active recall and exam technique. I help my students in understanding and memorising content via different methods such as mindmaps, diagrams and discussions, ensuring that they have an excellent foundation knowledge of topics.
- We can then put this to practise by completing many exam questions, accompanied with explanations of each answer. I plan my lessons in advance so that each student is able to fully grasp a topic and so that I am able to answer any questions or concerns the student may have.
- As I have recently completed these exams myself, I can share subject specific (as well as more general) revision tips and tricks with students, along with notes and resources and all in all, this will hopefully help them in achieving top grades!
